Got a set of used touring TORS. I wrecked my bike on Friday last week they were delivered Saturday. They've never been taken out of the box they were shipped in. I'm asking $320. That's what I paid for them. I'm willing to cover shipping as long as it isn't outrageous.
Well fellas things are not looking good for my beloved R3T. I wrecked yesterday after I clipped a car that was in front of me. We were traveling west when the light in front of us turned yellow. The car was about one length away from the light and I was behind that. I erroneously assumed the car...
I wanted to offer here first, 200.00 plus shipping, it has 2 small cracks I guess from speed, other than that it’s clean, penwalls has a summer windshield for 80 and on eBay a new windshield looks like 170,
G’day all.
My awesome ‘new’ Rocket III came with a number of spare seats.
I am selling an as new Triumph factory Solo Touring seat, with basket weave patterning on the upper surface.
It is unmarked / as new, and is a credit to the previous owner, as is the rest of the immaculate bike...
It can be done for sure. The issue with traveling on a multiple day trip is carrying the clothes and gear to make the touring acceptable. Here is how you do it with no bags or luggage.
Have your wife take the big touring bike to carry all your chit.:p She carries your clothes, pipe bag, rain...
What spare parts would you bring for the Rocket 3 if you were going on a long trip?
I think (?) @warp9.9 mentioned once carrying a spare Crank Position Sensor.
Just curious what you guys bring, or would bring, when taking the Rocket far, far, from the barn that baling wire and duct tape won't...
Hi I recently purchased a tr3 touring model only 4700 miles on it. What upgrades should I look at doing to make the bike ride better. I’m buying a light kit already and I’m looking into a new horn. I herd to get the k-n filter as well as a “ecu flash” I think that’s what it’s called. Any other...
Well got a bit of damage to the visors via a bird. Found the 7" and now trying to replace the smaller visors. I believe the part number is A9738068. Most likely need to be some one that does not have use for theirs. Please let me know if you desire to part with yours.

Selling a quick release passenger backrest for the Triumph Rocket Touring. I had bought this thinking I would fabricate something unique for my passenger, but decided to go in a different direction so I no longer need this. Only comes with what is pictured...sold.
So I had my bike around 4 years, fuel gauge worked fine, or at least same as everyone else's. Got the Carpenter package, picked it up, filled it several times on the way home, when full it only read 5/8 of a tank. I called Bob and got a party line/ BS answer "we didn't do anything that could...
I've had a problem with low rpm roll on since last summer, got worse in rain or damp. I just had my bike in the shop, he looked everywhere for any loose connections or mouse chewed wires, found nothing except maybe one plug wire nor on tight, and he said one of the ecu plugs seemed not clicked...
I have a 2008 R3 Touring model that I have had problems with the speedo. I have combed this site and seen others have had the same problem that I'm experiencing but I can't seem to find a solution.
I had my bike parked outside during a heavy rain storm. My speedo gauge filled up with water. I...
This is a one owner 2011 Triumph Rocket III that has 11,823 miles on the odometer. Located in Knoxville, Tn. The bike has K&N air filters and a Jardine complete exhaust system. It comes with a Triumph cover, detachable windshield with windshield bag, detachable backrest and luggage rack and is...
Just wondered if anyone has tried them on a Touring. They come in factory size , V rated. Avon Cobras had better life than the Mettzlers, less cupping, and both had fine grip. I don't recall these being available in Touring size in the past, but I seem to remember hearing good things on a...
Petunia wanted a seat backrest, so now I have a seat backrest. This is a KTP Extra Large King Tour Pack from Nasty Hog Motorcycle Parts Co ($499) mounted on a Wompus rack. The quality of the trunk is good enough for the price and feels solid on the rack. It’s unlined and I’ll add seal stripping...
So my older son is looking for a bike. He spotted this one with 15k miles. Second owner is 60+ years old, doesn’t ride anymore.
What do you see, good or bad?
We don't motorcycle camp anymore, so it's not being used. Wired for lights, I can tow it to Maggie Valley and I'm sure someone there has tools to take the hitch off my bike, probably could take my wiring harness off too, trailer plugs into the bike. $500 firm
