The side panels of the R3T are different from all other R3 models. I strongly suspect that a 2006 model is not an R3T.

Yeah, that's what I figured. Just looked and compared the images from the OEM manuals. It's a no go. Oh well, I'll keep looking.

Thanks for the quick reply.

When I bought my bike ('13 R3T), it was missing the left side panel just under the seat and behind the engine. I looked on ebay and found the same panel off of a '06, can anyone confirm that it would or would not fit? Any help would be great! Thanks!

This is the listing I found, think it will work?
06 Triumph Rocket III 3 2300 left side cover panel | eBay

2013 Triumph Rocket III Touring Sidepanel, LH. Jet Black. Panels, Infill, Equipment, Body - T2307221-PG | HERMYS TRIUMPH eSTORE, Port Clinton PA
Looks like hermys has it in stock for 260$ ouch!

Touring side covers are plastic and affix like Jap bikes with a pin and grommet. High speed runs tend to suck them right off the bike. Fingers idea is a good one.

BTW: Roadster and Standards have steel side covers and they are bolted on.

Well, I have them both...I took them off my wrecked 2013. One I think is good but the other had a broken pin that I applied epoxy to and repaired. I was going to repaint them different and keep them for spares because they are pricey to replace. Both are in good shape. The one you need is the one I fixed and it is in nice shape and close to perfect. The other is nice as well but it has a few minor scuffs that can be buffed out....certainly better than nothing. My 2013 was the same color as yours. New England white and black.
