I I ride this bike hard it has the Torq exhaust mufflers and the tune to go with it. In the past 1000 miles or so I notice that the motor will drop all cylinders randomly and so far for a moment then some times a loud backfire, some times not and it will return to normal for the remainder of my...
Hi Friends,
Just wondering if someone has mounted a 200 size tire on their touring. I think it will handle a little better on the turns.
Can someone please advice which 200 size tire will fit well on our R3T.
Thanks...
Concerned about destroying my engine as I had a lemon 2008 and heard horror stories about Commander, etc.
But if it's safe and there's someone local who's reliable, love to get more power...
Mid August i'll be riding from the UK through France and down to Estepona (southern tip of Spain) and back with a Ducati Diavel riding mate.
I reckon we'll be spending some time in 104+ temperatures and wondered if any of you guys that regularly ride in these temps have any tips for the rider...

Hello everybody.
I have a very problem which i don't understand. I have a 2010 Touring model, it slides dangerously almost all the time. I bought already new set of metzeler marathon 880 tires. I have try to change the air pressure of tires almost every way. Especially it feel like the front...
Hello. Looking for a used Mustang seat if possible. Need to get comfy without going new prices. If you have one laying around and want to make room for new let me know.
I am wondering what would be a good option for touring. Canada has terrible roads and harsh highways. I need a shock that can absorb severe humps and bumps and deep holes. Not interested in performance racing but touring comfort.
I was on a major road trying to keep my cup in the holder. If it...
Hi, this has probably been asked before but I'm new to the forum so here it goes. Any suggestions on lowering a 2013 Touring a couple inches? As detailed as possible including parts would be appreciated. Also any valid arguments against it? Thanks!
Just have a question here, are the ECU's on the touring and roadster different or the same, main reason for asking would be, can you use the same tune on each one or are they different and you have to use a tune specific to each model?
So, I'm still building out my R3T exactly how I want it, and seeking a bit more performance. Right now, I upgraded to a Dain 3-to-1 slip-on, PCV (no dyno tuners using TuneECU), and a RamAir kit. Right now I dyno'd 145hp, 151ft/lbs, not bad considering it's at the wheel and minimal upgrades, but...
I just ordered and recieved a new set of tires for my 2014 R3T. Before having them installed I got to thinking, "I wonder if the "less than a 1/4" difference in diameter will effect the ABS?" (why didn't i consider this Before ordering? ... duh!) Anyway, I'd read of people running a 200/60r16...
Excuse me if I am asking something that is known or normal as I am still learning my ride. With the help of this forum and its knowledgeable members I have done much reading and followed suit in taking my bike from stock and am starting to derestrict it. This morning at 5 am I could wait no...
I just got done putting my first tune on my R3T and I can't thank everyone here enough. The advice, experience and expertise in these forums makes working on this bike easy.
I used TuneEcu, Windows 7 laptop, and the cable off of Amazon. I followed the directions, installing the drivers then...
I found some info on the subject of adjusting throttle bodies on a R3T here but not what I wanted to know.
Has anyone here adjusted the the throttle bodies on their Touring? The service manual says it can't be done with the Triumph Diagnostic Tool so I'm assuming it can't be done with...
Work in progress: :) [Yes, feel free to ask me about any of these, though where the links are provided, they usually know more about it than I do]
