Anyone seen these before and know the brand/origin.
2" thick handlebars for R3. Quite different to the NZ made Thunderbike bars that have a cross bar that fits the stock risers. These obviously replace the stock risers and are the biggest i have seen.
I have the 1.5" Thunderbike so...
Hi, this has probably been asked before but I'm new to the forum so here it goes. Any suggestions on lowering a 2013 Touring a couple inches? As detailed as possible including parts would be appreciated. Also any valid arguments against it? Thanks!
Meeting up with a mate to go for a bit of a blast I said meet me up at my local Triumph Dealer
so we meet up and decided to have a bit of a look around

first of he starts telling me the one about the "new" Rocket lll being a 2.5 litre ...
Gearingo gear indicators are available for R3's now and other Triumphs with 1, 1/8 to 1, 1/4" handlebars.
Triumph must have a gear position sensor in the starting circuit. I believe all R3's have them. If unsure, call your dealer and have VIN ready.

I had always looked at Rocket 111's but never really considered owning one. Till 6 weeks ago while doing my usual and scanning the Salvage auctions for cosmetic only insurance write off bikes ( I have purchased and rebuilt around 40 bikes) there i was my first R3. Its now in my garage, Problem...
I'd like to buy a sissy bar/ luggage rack (ideally the tallish one) for my 08 R3 standard. I figured I'd check to see if anyone was looking to sell before springing for one of the new ones from Triumph.
Just got myself an 06 classic yesterday and rode 320 miles home, couldnt be happier. Ive been creeping around the forum reading as much as i could for the past few months with my sights set on a rocket and it is ever so true to its name. Im coming off of a suzuki savage ls650 single cylinder...
I've finally received the R3 I bought from a dealership in WI, and it's had a fair bit of work done to it. I figure it'd be great to get more info if the previous owner happened to be a member. Anyone recognize their old bike in this pic?
Looks like they do a twin muffler for Tourings too, see link at bottom of page.

OK, don't read too much into this.....yet. I have been eyeing some classics these past few days and I notice that some have pegs while others have boards. I would definitely need a board. Now, getting a bit deeper, I see where some boards are fairly flat and others have an upward pitch to them...
My R3 has been requiring more cranking than usual and I have to give it some throttle to get it to fire up after setting overnight. I need to nurse the throttle until it warms up, then it will hold a low speed idle.
I've reloaded the map using TuneECU, and had no error codes. The battery is...
