As much as I like this bike, it's a touring bike that I don't use for touring. I don't really need to sell it, probably just spend the money on another motorcycle, but it's kind of a lot of money to have tied up in a bar hopper, how I mostly use it now.
Some bikes have never seen rain, this...
Friend's bike:
Backstory:
Cams were removed, valves adjusted, stock intake plumbing removed and RamAir Installed. Once put back together it will not start.
It has, good battery (car battery jumped in), fuel and spark. Occasional backfire while trying to start. Cam timing checked multiple...
Just home from a touring holiday across Europe having done about 3000 miles in 2 weeks.
Just had to top up the oil for the 1st time on her, she took about 600ml to get back to where she was when I set off. No leaks and no smoke from the exhaust but it must be getting burnt as I have no sign of...
Hi all I posted on the end of the last Rivco Riser thread but haven't got any response so will try here.
I have just fitted the rivco risers to my 2016 R3T
Re routed the clutch cable for now but have a longer one coming.
Seems like I am the odd man out but I have found that my front brake line...
OK, finally decided to start making changes to my R3T. Installing TORS in the morning. Air intake, for the moment, is stock. Thinking of adding Paul's crossover pipe as well, but for now the stock pipe will be there.
Looking for best tune to unrestrict. My kid on the back likely doesnt want...
Working on making my 2013 R3T breath!!! RamAir kit and Dain pipe inbound. Looking for the best TuneEcu tune for this setup. Have used TuneEcu before with basic stock download so am familiar. Any link to the latest and best would be appreciated. Thank you.
Don't have access to my bike right now and need to know what the stock tire size is. Also does Michelin make a tire that fits both front and rear without changing any of the geometry of the bike
I bought one of the left over 2015 R3T's in late Sept of 2016 after I destroyed my 2005 Classic. It has been a great Rocket so far, just not riding enough yet. I was cleaning the rear inner fender when I saw the wiring harness hanging down and laying on the rear tire. I removed the bags and...
My 2011 R3T has rips on the drivers seat. I don't want to spend a ton and the back seat and both back rests are fine. Its $650 to cover everything to match. An upholster told me to buy a skin just for the front seat and he can install it for $100. Where do you find a skin? Is the R3R front seat...
Problem with my 2010 R3T, (HELP) ; Clutch in, hit ignition and engine fires up. After a few minutes idle, I pull away and the engine dies after 100 yards, (dash lights on). Fire up again, and die again after a short hop. This stop start thing go on for 3 to 5 times every morning and then settle...
So I fixed the fog light issue today. I reported the harness was bad a few months ago and ordered a new one and finally went by and got it. This is the corroded unit.
On close up you can see the corosion and a broken wire.
As I was putting it all back together, (simple plugs) I noticed...
Howdy All...I have no shame so I thought I would do an update on my PDM60 Power Distribution Module Installation. My previously posted link, provided below, turned out to be a total disaster. I thought I had things all measured and figured out, but my assumption that all the crap hanging down...
I just rejoined here after purchasing a 2009 R3T in blue with only 1.600 miles. I bought it through eBay from a car dealer in Florida and cosmetically it looks great.
This is my second R3T, so I know the model reasonably well.
I'm a bit concerned about what I might need to be concerned about...
Is it a direct fit or is some fiddlin required? I like the look of the Roadster tank over the touring tank. I also believe the Roadster tank holds more fuel.
**SOLD*** Virtually NOS. I purchased, Fiona, my R3T new off of the showroom floor and then rode with this seat the first two weeks until my upgrade with backrest arrived.
I'm currently living in NW Louisiana (71107). $25 plus shipping.

2015 with 65k miles, I hate to even start this, but here goes. Been running Avon Cobras and they were a big improvement over Bridgestones. However, reading reviews and all that, it seems Michelin Commander II's (And Metzler RoadTechs in some circles) are promising more miles and equal handling...
