Hello Rocketeers,
Getting close to time to change brake pads on The Beast.
What's the best pad material?
Should I go with sintered or semi-sintered?
I have 5500 miles on my bike, does it digest pads the fast?
Any particular brand that's better than the rest?
Galfer, EBC, etc.
Thanks,
Hi Guys, I want to change out the brake fluid on my 2015 R3T over the winter. When I had my Valkyrie, I added Speedbleeders to the front and rear brakes and they made the job very easy.
I would like to put them on my Rocket. My question is, would the procedure be any different seeing as how my...

Hello Rocketeers,

good evening all,
still in LOVE with my 07 :) but I noticed I have no light activation with I apply my rear brake. pretty sure it's the pressure switch, and I"m wondering if there is an 'aftermarket' part that people are using, or is this pretty much a dealer only expensive part?? for right...
This may a "no $hit" fix or repeat post but here goes:
Issue: Front brakes on 2005 R3 are barely working. Lever pulls in almost to the grip.
1st thing tried = replace brake fluid and bleed - helped a bit but not much
2nd thing = replace both sets of pads - helped a bit but not much
After 2+...

My front brake pad pin bolts need to be replaced with Ti or SS. Someone, in the name of safety, torqued them excessively. It was not me! One will not come out and is almost stripped. :banghead: I'll see if the shop can take it out without removing the whole caliper.

Having problems with bleeding the Front brakes on my 2007 R3, no matter what they are still spongy.
Anyone had the same problem, if so how did ya fix it?
Also will a R3 Touring rear disc fit on a Standard R3 rear wheel.
All help appreciated, cheers
Hey gang,
Quick question for the team. How does one remove the rear brake light lens on a 11 R3T? Do I have to unbolt the whole assembly from under the fender or does the lens pop off? The lens doesn't seem to have any play so I am guessing I have to unbolt it.
Thank you,
Paul.
I have just purchased a HBF8138 2 front 1 rear brake hose kit from Hel.
The 2 front have been fitted without any problems.
However the rear hose,if it just replaces the stock hose then it's about 4 inches too long.Looking at
the length of the hose it will bolt directly to the master cylinder...
Hello guys,
I was just bussy pushing back the brake pistons on the aft caliper.
And when pushing them inside I pushed strait true the insert cup (see attached picture)

Need help because I do not know electrical.
My ignition finally crapped out on my 2009 Classic so I went with a keyless bypass. (Digital Guard Dog) Worked fine for a week then died. A friend and I traced it to a bad connector in the new kit and at the advice of DGD we cut the connector out and...

Fellow Captains,
I've recently replaced my front brake pads, using the EBC HH pads. Part#FA236HH. Rears are FA209/2HH.
I watched videos and read instructions, and most of them had the calipers off the bike. I did the work without removing the caliper, and wanted to check my work with you...
