I have just purchased a HBF8138 2 front 1 rear brake hose kit from Hel.

The 2 front have been fitted without any problems.

However the rear hose,if it just replaces the stock hose then it's about 4 inches too long.Looking at
the length of the hose it will bolt directly to the master cylinder then it will require sorting the light
switch.

Any thoughts please..

The stock factory Triumph R3 lines are braided stainless under the black rubber/plastic cover anyway. I too have found that out AFTER buying HEL lines. I spent FAR more than you though as the HEL Roadster ABS version is 6 lines and was nearly Au$500.:( and I didn't even get coloured ones.:banghead:

Perhaps i should have mentioned the reason for changing to Hel hoses..

Sometimes under braking the front stock hoses would touch the intercooler this will not be a problem with the Hel hoses as they
fit closer to the forks.

I have sent a message to Hel for advice on fitting the rear hose.
