Mrs. Having to give up riding long journeys so it's the back of the beast for long trip coming soon.
Triumph want £325 and another £100 for the pad FFS.
Anyone got good alternative?
Thanks in anticipation
Sooo...I finally decided to ditch the stock triumph leather bags and put some fiberglass hard bags on the back and a fiberglass fairing on the front.
I picked up these bags for $300.00 US . They are made fror a VTX and the local guy I got them from used to have them on his Victor Kingpin...
My R3 classic has started to not start. The battery is charged and the clock says the right time. I put the key in and turn it to the start position expecting it to light up the dials and push the petrol gauge dial around and back down and make that reassuring whirring BUT it appears to be dead...
I have a 2007 Classic. All I have to say is the crash bars are crap and I can't even begin to tell you how easy they bend. Is there a new version that is a lot stronger that will actually hold my feet on the highway pegs. If there is something that does exist where can I get them? Thank you so much.
(Yours truly on a recent trip to Spain)
Proud owner of a 2008 classic which I LOVE:).
Really in to classic London 1960's mods & rockers culture....and I am just about old enough to remember it first time around but only as a young spectator.
I have been riding since I was 16 and love everything...
Hello
I've got an issue at the moment with my electrics, and hoping you guys have some advice of what it may be and where to check... any help appreciated.
Symptoms started at the start of the week when my rear left indicator stopped working, I assumed the single bulb had blown and so didn't...
Well I am a picky bastard and I want what isn't made. So I started a project this winter of making my 07 classic more like a touring. You know, with the hard bags and dual exhausts, just not the skinny ass rear rim or the annoying gauge cluster in the tank. Although I would love a teardrop...
Ok guys, please don't flame. I know there are tire threads all over, but I can't find the best sizes for my R3 anywhere. I'm wanting to run with the Bstone Excedra Max rear and an Avon Cobra front. Last I had written down was 150/89R17 & 240/55R16. Am I close?

Greetings,
I just picked up my 2006 Classic two days ago. Enjoying it so far!
My previous ride was a Honda 919 (or Hornet 900, depending on the country). Had that bike for 10 years and loved every minute, but I needed something better for two-up rides with the wife. I nearly got a Dyna...
I thank whoever did it first and posted it for me (I forget), but an alternative to the heal-toe shifter for the R3 Classic is a shifter from an older speed triple. I got it from Bike Bandit:
PEDAL, GEARCHANGE, ASSY (1391773) $86.06
CAPSCREW M6X20 (1397413) $0.74
This is what it looks like...
As you folks know, I traded my 06 Classic R3 and a 2011 T Bird Storm in on my current bike. The dealer tells me that the wholesaler that took both bikes kept the Rocket for his own stable for a couple of months, then..........decided to let it go via auction in Florida somewhere. One of the...

I want to put an extra long Kuryakyn Longhorn Iso-Shift peg on my heal-toe Classic shifter. Has anyone done this? The standard one looks like it's welded on. I am thinking of cutting it off, grinding it flat, and either drilling a hole or tapping some threads.
Item SOLD.
For Sale is this OEM Rocket Windscreen that comes with 2 mounting brackets and 4 bolts as pictured below. There is also a black trim that sits over the top edge and down both sides not pictured. This is in AS NEW condition no damage, no scratches whatsoever and is a great...
I'm looking for a set of stock classic handle bars to put on my 2013 roadster in the hopes of getting a little more pullback and a little more relaxed angle without going to risers just yet?
Thanks
