In case anyone is looking to add some new bling to your R3T, Triumph has developed two new pieces for the T-Bird that fit perfectly on the R3T.
The Instrument Visor-Chrome (p/n A9730610) and Front Brake Caliper Caps-Chrome (p/n A9730642). Just installed both tonight on my R3T.
They fit...
Wanted to check in to say hello. Just finished rebuilding a 2008 R3 with only 1000 kms.
Bike had endured front end damage. Appreciate having a forum dedicated to this Triumph.
I finally got to do a demo ride on the R3T. I had owned an '05 RIII for about a year and found it really didn't fit my riding needs/desires. But after a short ride on the R3T I think I may have found the next bike for me to hunt. The ones that came out of the demo truck had the windshields...
Since I received no bites, I ordered the one thing that was missing yesterday. I will give you guys a report on my Rumble Roads Ultras when I have them installed.
last week i visit a präsentation of the new R3 Roadster in Austria.
only black dull, digital dash board, ABS, the front (shafts ?) is black too, 5 % more Power,
sorry for my english!
I clearly love my R3T. It carries me to where I want to go. It takes me cheaply to scenic spots like Canon Beach, where there's a record low tide. It takes me to the Portland Japanese Gardens, where the fealing of beauty and peace give my soul rest and recharge my spirit. Along the way nature is...
Hi Folks,
Finally got my SN for Tuneboy. Anyone know if 20222TuneJardine.dat is the latest tune for the above setup please? It looks like it is from what I can see but if anyone knows of any newer; would appreciated being pointed at it.
Thanks!
Mark
Is anyone interested in getting together for a ride in the Northeast? Or for that matter, does anyone know of an organized R3 ride in the northeast? I am from just north of Albany, NY and would be interested in some sort of a ride.
GO BIG OR GO HOME!
Took it to the dealer because suddenly it would not downshift into first unless you were almost at a complete stop.
They found evidence of where the 1st gear dog was trying to engage but was hiting the gear. They also found a spring sitting in the bottom of the pan. They are not sure where it...
Has anyone looked into what it would take to transplant the dual headlight arrangement from a RIII to a RIII Touring?
It seems to me that I could almost overlook the speedo on the tank if the R3T had the dual headlights............
Hello, when it comes to after market exhaust for the R3C or the R3, i have installed on mine the 3 to 2 RAASK full exhaust system about 6 months ago or so with the power commander computer and let me tell you.... that system is great, the product is nicely build, the chrome is excellent and the...
Good morning, I'm thinking of getting the fuel gauge fro the R3C, the look nice on the bikes i have seen with them but i hear (or read) that there is a calibration issue with those, anyone has any experience with these issues? Any words of wisdom?
thanks
Where is the high 9 second R3 these days?!? I'm speaking of the Carpenter Racing R3 that should be making sub 10 sec passes at Atco Dragway. If anybody can do this it would be Art... we need an update!
I am debating about what seat to invest in, right now i have the Triumph Rocket III Touring Gel Seat - Dual, A9701141 but it's not comfortable, even worse for the passenger, i have been thinking about 3 choices but not sure which one to decide on, the first choice and the least expensive would...
Hi all,
I have recently purchased a set of the Rivco Risers and in the instruction sheet it talks about a thick washer that is on the top side of the Triple Tree. On my R3T, the thick washer was on the bottom of the Triple Tree. It appeared that the Rivco Riser was missing either a part or...
Riding the Foothills Parkway in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park I was following my buddy who was on his K1200S. He was going too fast so I backed off, apparently not enough. I approached a decreasing radius left hander, braked as long as I could till I reached the point of no return, I...
Rider Magazine reviewed the new Kawasaki 1700 Voyager and, I have to say, that it is what I want Triumph to do with the Rocket. I'm a touring rider and the Rocket/R3T engine is a great platform to build up to something like the big Kaw. Fixed fairing, cruise control, sound system, trunk, etc...
I'm planning on getting my exhaust upgraded. I've heard and seen video clips of the D&D, Raask, and TORs. I can't really tell them apart. The TORs do sound fairly quiet. Not too much different from the stock pipes.
I like the look of the Raask set that Wildrooster got. They sound great...
There are no clip-ons that will fit the fat R3 fork tubes. Therefore I designed these risers that place the handlebars forward of the upper triple tree.
These will put you "in the paint" (steering damper and riding skill required).
Hello ya'll. Just picked it up on 5-8-09. New 08. Black & Beautifull.it's my 4th hinkley triumph. So far they have all taken everything I can throw at them. They like to be ridden hard. In one of your posts I read that the cat was in the muff. I don't think so. I saw the triumph slips. Does...
