    R3T Rework Thread

Hola! Just bought an '08 Touring off a guy in Harlingen. There were definitely some issues with the bike once I got it back home (a 4 hour drive 💀💀💀). - No coolant in the reservoir or radiator; missing reservoir cap. - No air filter in the box under the seat. - Chrome is bubbling, corrosion on...

    R3T and Roadster engine differences...

Good day group, just wondering if there are internal differences in the RIIITs and RIIIRs, such as cam or were all the performance differences done in the ECM. Reason why I ask is many sources say the R#T is 92hp and 120ft lbs of torque at the wheel. I just threw a tune at my 2014 RIIIT and it...

Bummed out days before inspection for registration of my R3T

Good day group. Took my R3T for it's last pre-inspection ride to ensure everything works. Everything was perfect. So tonight after dinner I went to load her in the trailer (because they are calling for snow inspection day here) and as I started her up I noticed the fuel gauge no longer works...

Is it really necessary to bleed ABS when maintenance bleeding of brakes for R3T

It's time to bleed the brakes of my 2015 R3T. In the past, I also bled the ABS module using DealerTool. But the other day I ran into a YouTube video where the guy making it claimed that almost no bikes actually need the ABS system bled during normal brake bleeding. He claimed that almost all...

    R3T Overheated In Driveway

So my wife and I were about to take the R3T out for dinner and I was warming her (the bike) up while we were getting ready. When we came out the bike was steaming and coolant pouring from the overflow lines. Have not had this happen before and the bike is riding great. The bike was probably...

    R3T which tune?

Afternoon I've fitted a set of Dave Platt silencers and after reading posts on here decided i need a tune. Down loaded tuneecu and got hold of a cable. There were 2 tunes for the R3T with slip on silencers as far as i could see 20366 and 20368 (20367 loaded as stock) i plumped for 20368 but...

    Headlight lower bulb???

Does anyone know what the small bulb is in the lower part of the headlight housing. It is described as a "position bulb" in the owners manual. Just wondering if you replace the housing with a LED if you can unplug that bulb and leave the plug empty?

Best budget friendly LED replacement lights for the R3T?

Good day group. I have been reading alot about replacement LEDs. The JD speaker is beautiful and the highest rated, but VERY pricey. What options have people used with the best results? Cheers.

    2014 R3T de cat

Good day group, has anyone decatted a R3T cat box? Is it simply a removal and hollow out with a drill, or does the cat box need to be cut open and rewelded?

GOT THE NEWS, TAKE DELIVERY OF MY 2014 R3T Jan 27th!!!

Good day group, yes, that is fantastic news from my end!!! My next question would be it appears that parts for the R3T are not as readily available (exhaust, LEDs for the touring lights), what is the best source for parts for the R3Ts. I have included dealer pics, and will have more once she is...

New 2011 R3T Owner (or soon to be) Restoration Questions

Hello everyone, am new to the forum but not new to R3 ownership. In the next couple weeks I am going to pick up a 2011 R3T locally from the original owner. Bike has about 12k miles on it but has been sitting outside unused for the better part of the year. I work on bikes as a hobby and have...

    R3T Floorboards Have To Go!

I haven't made a post in awhile highlighting my latest project idea, so here it goes. Have you ever notice how big and in the way the floorboards are on the R3T. I can barely get my legs out past them to get my feet on the ground when stopping. They are so long, wide and in the way it is hard...

First Valve Check for Fiona, my '14 R3T...

I'm just shy of 30K miles on Fiona and I decided to go ahead have the valve's checked. Each one was out of spec. With the intake valve spec being .10-.15 mm, mine were .18 .23 .18 .20 .20 .20 respectively. For the exhaust valves, the spec is .15-.20 mm and mine were .25 .25 .25 .25 .25 .25...
