Watched the vid a few times. Granted rubber mounted engines do cause a wobble at times but that was extreme. Failed wheel bearing on rear tire is a possibility. Had one go south on the Fatboy doing around 20 MPH. No warning at all just went south. When I removed the tire the bearing came out in pieces. Lucky for me rim was savable. Older Harley's do not have much of a problem because the bearings are wider but since the introduction of ABS on Harley's the bearings are thinner causing issues with premature wear. Change mine out around 20,000 just to be safe. Come now how can you look cool riding your Harley with a helmet on? That is not the image Harley wants to project. Dew rags and cool looking T-shirts is all that is required while riding your big bad Harley. (sarcasm) News this morning from Tulsa reports a Guy died in a motorcycle accident early morning hours and no helmet. You guys are scaring this new harley rider!!!:eek:
Come on my friend its a Harley when your pushing it if it wobbles let go :D
Serious though since there are so many Harley bikers out there someone has adapted a steering damper if for nothing but higher speed stability. even a Rocket can benefit from one whether it actually needs one or not.
Research my friend don't sweat the small shiztski !!!!!
