Chromes in the std Roadster sizes have been a great combination having covered 12,000km since new still feel good and plenty of tread left.

I just purchased a set of Chrome's for my wife's HD and as soon as I need a new set on my R3T that's where I'm headed...

Yep, it'll try to pull your lips through your anus. Nothing quite like it :)

Good to hear about traction. I had a hell of a time on the normal Cobra in 1st gear, spin....spin...spin... Everytime I launched without fail.

Avon is pretty good at effin up tyres :banghead: about ten years ago I got a free rear from them due to the fact the rubber was peeling away, must be the same guys who make firestone :D

Yes I was in on that recall also. Sucked to as the words free replacement didn't include recuperating the installation fees.

    Been running Bridgestone since.

The letter I received from Avon this morning about the recall says "they will be replaced, for FREE (including mounting and balancing)"

I guess it's up to me to remove and re-install the wheel on the bike?

I have not received anything but with no air loss other than the normal am not worried about it. Good to know that Avon responded to their screw up. Next set of tires will be the same Cobra Chromes. By the way they handle real well in cold weather.:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:
