Avon Grip Question

I ordered a set of grips for Edsel my R3R. There fitment chart says they’ll fit. Anyone know of any issues or caveats with these grips?

I use AVON METRIC GRIPS - not those exact ones but they should fit.
The ones I have came as CLOSED END only. The official Avon solution is called a "Junior Hacksaw".

Did you hack the ends off so you could install a Kaoko throttle lock? I just bought these for my new t-bars and was surprised to see you couldn’t remove the ends.

I have used the Avons for some years now. Very comfortable. Metric fitment is the right one, not the Harley one.

I did remove the ends - but on a lathe. Not for a throttle lock though.

Got the Avon grips installed last weekend. And after getting the throttle boss into the proper position for me, I must say “I like them a lot”.
