You mentioned heat cycles ? I'm thinking after new install we should warm them up a few times and re-tighten ?

After losing one nut, I realized that my CES required continual and frequent re-tightening, especially during the first season.
So much so, I kept a wrench handy in my tank bag.
Use of high-temp loctite helped a lot:
 
If the ceramic coat was heat dryed at the place who applied it would they not have heat dried it?

It is baked during the application process, but, I assume it has something to do with the coatings being rated for higher temps than ovens reach and exhausts getting closer to those very high temps.
 
Have you guys tried using spring washers? ....had my Jardines doing the same thing last summer untill i swapped out my studs for bolts with hex heads and its now cured;)
 
Titanium nuts are the answer, differing expansion rates is the key. Since I switched Ive never had to touch them again once I torque them.

Though, it’s like a $25 set of nuts :p
