Darkside don't have flat spot like a badly worn bike tyre, you see a bike tyre has a very stiff carcass so when you have excessive wear yes you have a tyre that feels like it has a hinge or a high spot in it when you go into a corner. A Darksidehas a softer carcass which has give in it do you can lean some like the Toyo Proxes are to soft hence they wil actually run on to the sidewall but others like my federal don't but give enought so you don't have the hinge or high spot so transition smootherly into full lean
