Have used them in the past on tubeless tires... cars and my Rocket last year to get home after picking up a Drywall screw. it stayed in for the 250 miles...

I have this on my z900 rear tire right now. Probably rode it for 3k miles at least with it in. And I didn't have glue on me at the time. Still going strong although I decided to buy new tires for the new season.
