How about traction when you hammer on the throttle?

I went out and burned a tank of gas with Guzzi Dan this afternoon, your post got me thinking, I don't baby the bike, I've hit the 9000 rpm rev limit a few times, but I've never actually launched it from a stop.
I was next to Dan at a light, I was blipping the throttle like the Harley guys do, he was shaking his head, I thought what the hell.
When the light turned green I did a launch, took the rpms way up and used the clutch to launch. Great Jumping Jehoshaphat, there's so many g's in first gear that it flip flops your stomach, like a carnival ride, when they drop you real quick and your stomach lurches from the zero g's. I never really realized how hard the thing could launch, and I actually took it pretty easy, in that there was no wheelspin, you could definitely launch harder, but I don't know if my stomach could take it.
