How accurate is the Triumph fuel gauge compared to the WAAAAAY OFF low fuel idiot light? How about fitting connections??? THANKS

The fuel gauge is as accurate as the light, they use the same sensor.
Mine has been corrected and I find it to be very accurate. When my needle hits the last red line showing empty, my light comes on. I've got about 33.8 miles in regular city driving until I'm out.
On the highway I can get that to about 45-50 miles left.

As Juggs said, if your fuel light is not set where you'd like, the gauge will be the same.
