While installing my new Weapon-R overflow tank I leaned over the bike to reach for something...crack! The brand new right side turn signal...I bought it about three months ago...broke right in half AGAIN:mad::mad::mad: **** cheapie **** all over this bike it seems. End up replacing **** near everything with more durable parts! The basic bike I love, but so many of its components aren't worth a nickel in quality:mad: Cheap, low grade plastic crap! Guess I'll have to return to Skull Enterprises for some beefy billet skull indicators that won't break when you fart next to them.

I scrapped all the factory turn signals, reflectors and English license plate bracket right away to clean up the look of the bike. I went with a set of Kuryakin oval convex mirrors with built in turn signals and a billet aluminum license plate frame also with built in turn signals. Those combined with a new steel license plate bracket that tucks it up neatly under the rear fender, and removing ALL the front/rear side reflectors, it's a very clean looking bike that I get asked all the time ... "why is it that yours looks different?". People don't seem to realize right off that all that stuff is missing, they just know that it looks different for some reason.

Hellfire, how did you remove the reflectors at the bottom of your forks? I can't find the attachment point, and didn't want to tear it up trying...

I took mine off Bobby, if I remember right they are just "stuck on" using double sided tape. Just gave them a tug and they came right off. I have an 05 though. Ymmv

I see you have an 05 too. Yeah they are just stuck on with double sided tape.

Yup, front forks are just foam tape. The rear side reflectors under the top of the rear fender are the two that are a pain since they are bolted in. Those aren't hard to remove, just require tools.
