Flipmeister's Paddock Stand

Pigr was just wondering with all the attention to shinny chrome, why you haven't opted for the down tube chrome covers? I originally got'em 'cause they were the cheapest bling I could afford after blowing the wad on the bike, but they shure look nice.
I keep wishing my valve cover would magically change to chrome ... but no luck yet.

Does the stand lift the bike high enough to remove the rear wheel?

Thank you

Yes it does. And placing a wood block under the front will allow you to remove the front.

I don't have too much chrome. I have powder coated the claw cover and likely will a few other pieces. Give me a little bit of time and I might swap manifold covers with you. Not front fenders though.:D

I do not have much chrome bear claw powder coated

nice cut out !! well done mod.

I'll be ordering one today too, for the Roadster. Confirmed that the holes are 3/8" instead of 1/2". Outside dimension is 13" on this bike, just as an FYI.

It's on the way, along with a clearance drill to take the lug holes to 1/2".

It will (Paddock Stand) fit any Triumph model, Bonneville, Scrambler, T100, Rocket Touring, Classic and all the sport models as well.

All that is required is a change in the cam plate spacing and in the lighter bikes, a smaller diameter pin.

The Rockets weigh so much that a smaller than 1/2" pin is asking for failure, not a problem with a lighter bike.

All I need (for any model) is the outside spacing (lug outside to lug outside) and I can fab the stand to fit for no extra charges. It's just a matter setting the spacing prior to welding the cam plates.

Thanks.

Here it is in chrome:

some guys are really good .. and PIGR9 is that good .
this is a pro mod , all of a sudden the bar is raised quite high for amateur like me trying their hands at mods but I will post my finished mod when done even if it looks amateurish i am making an R3 classic windscreen ,larger than the original but smaller than the fleetliner from Corbin. so far I have made the plug and the female plaster mold.

Paddock stand received today and its a much welcomed tool. Ill have no further valid excuses for groady wheels. A shorty extension on the breaker bar was a great help to get it out and away from the exhaust. As previously mentioned, once downward pressure is applied to the fulcrum arm (breaker bar) theres no need for steadying up the bike. An additional 18" of cheeter bar pipe over the breaker bar was perfect, and up she went. Great product Flipper! Thanks!!

R....

I made it strong enough so that you'll break the breaker bar before anything else breaks which is why I suggest a quality forged bar. I'd be concerned with a Chinese knockoff...... Glad you approve of it. I consider you one of the most discerning Captains.

Flip,

Just wanted you to know that the R3Touring 2008 models have a 1/2 hoel already. I did not have to drill them. Not sure if any other '08 owners could verify. But definitely not mine. BTW great product!!! Well packed and those are some of the finest directions I ever read!!!!!!!:D
