Yep..:D, the 264 is a Nailhead. I have a 322 out of a '55 Super that may go in there someday.

Buick was insane back then... They had the Special, Century, Super, and Roadmaster. The Century was the hot rod... big motor in a small car. The Super and Roadmaster were huge cars. Each came as a two door, four door post, four door hardtop, convertible and station wagon... along with some oddballs like the tourback. Then... you could get just about any of them in Riviera trim, which was really a different car altogether. Things like Roadmaster Rivieras are some of the most awesome cars ever.

Thanks for the up date Tom. Wish I had gotten me one years ago when I was so smitten with the old fords..A nice one now Is way out of my price range..Really liked the 57 olds and buicks with the 3 piece rear windows and fender skirts..Oh well at least we have these memories..Whats my grand kids gona dream about,A Taurus???
