Can i elimate the cat or" clean out" without tuneboy?? Will it increase torque/power?? will it cause popping?? will the...

    Corbin Beetles w/ Aftermarket Exhaust

Sorry Folks, but I searched and searched and couldn't find my answer... Did we decide that Corbin beetles work with aftermarket exhausts? TORS - Yes D&D - ? Jardines - ? Staintune - ? MadDogs - ? I've gone Jardines and I seem to recall seeing post that someone with Jardines has beetles...

    Exhaust Flange Covers

I noticed E-bay often has RIVCO exhaust flange covers that are called"Blemished". I took a chance and ordered a set and they are great, and half the price of regular ones. The "Blemish" is on the inside, and hard to find at that. Put them on this morning and they make a huge difference in...

  5. Exhaust header pipe options?

I can't believe that I'm already looking into performance options, while I have yet to buy the bike. Anyway, looking at the header pipe on the rocket, it does not strike me as designed for performance. (I'm also confident that the bike does not really need an increase in performance)...

    Exhaust.....Exhaust

I was wondering if anyone has the Mad Dogs with the Beetle Bags from Corbin? I am looking to buy a set and was curious about the fit. Also, do the Mad Dogs come with the Cat by-pass? thanks

  8. D&D Exhaust Who's Got Them, How do they sound

Hi, The subject says it all except... ;-) Also wondering about the Thunderbike setup. Especially to have just two pipes on the right side like the D&D. Thanks Roy

  9. Exhaust

Greetings ... I just picked up my '07 Classic Tourer. I added the front & rear bars & it's sweet. I'm headed to Myrtle Beach tomorrow for the end of Bike Week + a couple of days in the sun. I'll look out for Rockets ... let me know if anyone is going to be there over the weekend. Now for my...

    Exhaust options

I have been looking at the Jardine or Mad Dog exhaust systems. I really like the way they both look especially the jardines with the header. I am running TOR's now and they don't really have a mellow throaty sound, a little harsh and raspy to me. If anyone can give me some advice on what the...

    3:1:3, 3:1:2, etc Exhaust Question

Being that I'm not a serious gearhead, I have a stupid guy question... Are there specific flow rate parameters that have to be met for an R3 exhaust? The reason that I'm asking is that I've been reading a lot of the forum discussions about the various exhausts and how much they cost, and...

  12. 3 into 1 exhaust

I haven't been here for a while but I think it is the place to go for r3 information. I want to find a set of 3 into 1 pipes for my bike does anyone know who sells them?

  13. exhaust heat

My Rocket (05) the center cylinder runs 120 degrees hot than the outside 2 cylinder. To me with a water cooled engine this should not be the case. Any ideas as to what might be going on.Steve.

  14. D&D exhaust - pod air filters - tuneboy

I have mounted D&D exhaust and want to use tuneboy an - if possible - pod air filters. Have some questions: I read the post from dugl. I`m living in germany. So I can forget the pod air filter? http://www.r3owners.net/showthread.php?t=595 Has somebody a tuning-file for D&D? D&D is...

    D&D and other exhaust questions

We might have discussed this before but I cant find the thread, if someone puts the D&D Exhaust on a Rocket I am reading that you do not need to by the CAT bypass is this true for those who use the D&D's? Also are the mufflers removable and can you maybe put another style muffler on them, say a...

  18. Exhaust upgrade

Being new to the site and forums, I probably haven't discovered all the posts about the good and bad of the different exhaust systems. I'm heavily leaning toward the Triumph upgrade that will replace the mufflers and cat box as that will not void my warranty (I hope). The only other thing I...

  20. exhaust manifold gaskets leaking

at about 450miles my center manifold gasket right off of the block was blowing out hot gasses onto my right leg (hot stuff) . the dealer had to order a complete new set and then all was fine. But now I have about 8200 miles on the ol' rocket and the center doughnut seems to be blown out again...
