On this coming trip i am kinda worried about the beast, the filters are wide open and if i encouter heavy rain i may be in trouble.
According to Carpenter, a little water will not hurt anything and he sent the bike back to Bud without any filters at all.
What are your thoughts on this matter?
I'm thinking of moving away from the stock filter and have a few questions for those that have done so.
Are Ramair and K&Ns the best 2 options and if so which K&N are favoured?
Do they both fit under the Bearclaw as I'd like to retain it for the OEM look?
Do all Ramair systems make the...
Found a Dyno Tuner in Bristol UK (Tim Blackmore racing) that didnt try to sell me PCIII -PCV and asked him if he used Tuneboy-tuneECU which he didnt ,he used triumph set up? so my question now is if i fit my RAMAIR filters should he be able to get it right with what he uses ?
Press release received Friday 11th October 2013. I hope this does not contravene any rules - but there's been interest so I thought I'd better post ASAP. Other than the fact I have been road testing a prototype - my own interest is nil.
Waiting on Dyno results like everybody else.
FOR GENERAL...
As you can see it is a tight fit. I'm glad I moved them forward since my knee fits just where it should just behind the rear filter. All I have to do yet is insulate the exterior with heat rejecting tape and permanently glue the box to throttle body grommets in place. I like the symmetry of the...

Assuming I fit an aftermarket exhaust that removes the cats, which type of filter provides the best performance.
A replacement K&N that drops in the air box like the first photo or Tripple K&N's like the second photo?
I think I may have asked this when I first joined the board...but what is the verdict on the exposed air filters (K&N, whoever else). I'm a little leery about chopping the bearclaw but the exposed look does look pretty good.
My question is how functional are they in a heavy driving downpour...
I have mounted D&D exhaust and want to use tuneboy an - if possible - pod air filters.
Have some questions:
I read the post from dugl. I`m living in germany. So I can forget the pod air filter?

Has somebody a tuning-file for D&D?
D&D is...
K&N Power air filters are easier to buy as the filters from tuneboy.
And they are cheaper.
Are they the same? There is no picture on the homepage of tuneboy.
