Press release received Friday 11th October 2013. I hope this does not contravene any rules - but there's been interest so I thought I'd better post ASAP. Other than the fact I have been road testing a prototype - my own interest is nil.

Waiting on Dyno results like everybody else.

FOR GENERAL CIRCULATION
It is with great pleasure that Ramair are now announcing the release of their Triumph Rocket III air filter kit. After many months of development and in depth involvement from some avid Rocket riders the production units are now ready for general sale. The initial orders will be shipped week beginning 14th October. With many orders in the pipeline the demand is clearly already strong for an off the shelf filter application that comes complete with the following components and features:

Ramair clamp on Rocket III filter element
Full radius inlet necks
Wiring harness for ATSextension
All ancillary clips and clamps required for attachment
Crankcase breather filter
Full photo fitting instructions with hints and tips section on other improvements that can be made at the same time as installation

This is a unique out of the box solution for all those wishing to tune and upgrade the filter setup on their Rocket III’s. Utilising our specialist twin layer filter material which is pre-impregnated with our own bespoke dirt retention dry polymer, the air filter element itself is born from our extensive Motorsport and OEM experience.

Initial road tests have proved very encouraging and we have units going to various corners of the World for independent test and evaluation. As these reports and figures become available to us we will publish them accordingly.

Current Retail costs are indicated as the following

Pre-order RRP £83.33+vat (£99.99 inc)
RRP from 21st October £95.83+vat (£114.99 inc)

Secure shipping of these units will be available anywhere in the World for only £9.50 net and FREE shipping within the UK.

Product can be bought on either pre-order up until midnight on the 20th of October by going to or call us on +441980 635300

Tell me more about the foam this filter uses. It reads like you leave it dry no oil? I havn't had any experience with foam filters since I replaced the OEM on my 1990 Harley with a KN. Can you wash it to kleen it? Will you be able to buy replacement foam or is the original supposedly life time?

I would likto know too

Neat and tidy looking unit. Bit pricey but the harness extension is a nice touch. If they work as well as claimed look like a great option. Would go well with Les' bear claw I reckon. Sell as a package. Anyway, well done all involved. Now for some more info and some test results.

I'm not sure on the Aussie dollar but at that price I'm thinking about $200.00 roughly landed here. Someone will do the conversion and prove me wrong but that's OK I just want to know a price.

Yes T.C. if there equal to or better than the small tripples on Lushy,s dyno and they answer my questions about the foam I can see one on my bike. Thats a comparable price to the tripples with all the gear you need anway isn't it?

Pretty close pricewise from.. memory. If the 'chirp-proof ' testing proves they are ok i'll probably be a starter as well.

I can't recall what the K&Ns cost me but the set of 5 from Flip are currently around US$130 plus shipping. Then there's $60 for filter covers if you wanted them (I did). With the Ramair you'll still need to do something about the crankcase breather ($20) but if you already have K&Ns that's not necessary, and of course no need for the filter covers.
