First off I am pissed off at the Jardine company. I am generally a very patient man and have been waiting since the begining of Feb. for my Jardine order to come in. Today I find out that my order has been delayed and won't be available for another 6-8 weeks. Company restructuring or part...
If any of you are still wondering how the comparison of the two exh boxes came out....they are identical...right down to the stamped numbers on them. Both have the same inlet size and both have the same outlet size. (Thanks to mully95 who took the time to measure up the box he took off of his...
I finally had time to get the exhaust finished up. I can't remember when and where i posted the pics of the original crossover box,,,,but it was a POS as far as flow. I am not totally happy with the outcome, but it is a major improvement over the BOX. I bought mandrel bent tubing but the real...
Well, I'm committed now........bought myself some mandrel bent tubing and then hacked off the LH connector pipe. (I plan to re-use this portion of the setup) I already knew the inlet was a restriction, but I had no idea what the inlet did inside the box. After the LH pipe was amputated I was...
Okay, I've verified my cable (twice), downloaded the latest Tuneecu software, drivers downloaded and used, and a test map downloaded for me to look at before I actually plug into my bike.
All I'm wanting to do is to unrestrict my first three gears and be done. No other mods at this time...
OK guys, been all through this site and can't find an answer. How am I supposed to fit an exhaust system with only 2 pipes to a bike that currently has 3 pipes? The CAT converter under the bike obviously has 3 outlets.
I'm thinking of changing my exhaust from Mad Dog to the Carpenter Racing Exhaust. Looking at the pics on their site, the pipes on the black bike are blue from the heat. Does anyone know if that was just a prototype or will all of their exhaust turn like the one in the picture? I know most...
Hi guy's,
This is my first post having just taken possession of a 2010 Roadster and loving it, my question is this, if I were to bypass the collector and reroute the header pipe directly to the right hand muffler so as to keep the appearance of stock, would I achieve any benefits such as more...
So far all the exhust systems I've heard from U-Tube video's from the usual suspects don't thrill me all that much with the exception of the Mad Dog pipes and now they are out of business. I'd really like to find something that has as low of a note as possible with decent volume without being...
Few questions for you guys. I am recovering from 5 by-pass open heart surgery and can't wait to get back on my 2011 Roadster. I have stock exhaust, I want to upgrade, due to my financial status from being out of work, I can only go for the TORs type slip on mufflers I would love to get full...
Has anyone removed the stock exhaust at he header pipe and simply ran a chrome exhaust pipe going straingt back and how loud is it? Does it require any mapping? The exhaust systems for this bike are really out of hand for what they are.
I want to reinstall my TORS exhaust and want to insure no leaks, I read somewhere that putting a RV sealent on the joints would help do this :o.. so, what kind of sealentand ( muffler cement??) how do you apply it. any comment greatly appreciated . :D
