Touring&Roadster...same exhaust box..

If any of you are still wondering how the comparison of the two exh boxes came out....they are identical...right down to the stamped numbers on them. Both have the same inlet size and both have the same outlet size. (Thanks to mully95 who took the time to measure up the box he took off of his 2010 Roadster) In comparing the pics of my Touring and his Roadster box, they use the same front and RH side hanger also, which the Staintune pipe doesn't.
HOWEVER...I may stick with my home-brew crossover if the Staintune pipe is $500.

Thanks again mully for your help in sorting this out. Sadly it seems Staintune doesn't even know this apparently.WTF:mad:
 
Bike Bandit is rarely wrong. When their parts list showed the same part number for both models it was a pretty good bet they were interchangeable.

As for Staintune's lack of knowledge, I doubt they ever tried fitting their pipe to a Touring model since they don't feel there is a market for a full system for the bike.
