Who's Rocket is this?

Just as a suggestion and in the same vein, you might take a look at a bear claw sold from
MSG Glacer Parts in Rheinman, GE.
it is much better IMO..and looks fabulous.

Those look like K&N 1770s. They have an angled flange on them that extends the filter away from the TB a bit. I don't think the 4040-1s will allow for the same manner of modification of the claw, they sit in a significantly different position.

Clavigers right re this, they are not 4040's, different end caps on the 4040's, and will be a different angle.

Mine might be 4040’s.

Wow that does look ready bad ass.
Yes I know mine won’t stick out as far, didn’t know it was a different angle.
I just wanted to cut the bear claw three separate holes so they stick out.
I just didn’t want to just cut the whole thing open.
And if I don’t get messuments and right angle and cut it wrong I could be off and not look good.
Mittzy yours seem to go on a nice angle goes well with shape of tank, I think it mine is 4040 and mine seem to be straight?

Tony,
Still one of the most beautiful R3s around anywhere!
A tad better pix below.
Two questions:
1) What was the base model and year of this bike?
2) What are those kinks I think I see in the #2 & #3 header pipe?
