Update Kit Price Gone Wild

I was told by an informed source that the parts were essentially offered at or near to triumph's cost, as they should be since they put the shyte bits and pieces in their defective early models to begin with. looks to me like their trying to capitalize on 2nd and 3rd owners of used bikes that are innocent purchasers just like the original owners of defective R3s. Just like that azzhole from the pharmaceutical industry that recently tried to usuriously jack up life-saving drug prices within his company's recently purchased acquisition . now he's known as one of the most hated individuals in America. https://www.google.com/webhp?source...pv=2&ie=UTF-8#q=the+most+hated+man+in+america

It's not what it's worth it how much we can get for it!! Whatever the market will bear! Right or wrong this is the system we have in place!

Thanks Paul now as I am a lazy bastard what would the cost be if bought separately:confused: another point Triumph should know the rough figure for how many bikes could be affected(my 2005 with 70000plus miles no problems at all) and how many kits have been sold.

@scot in exile : Your wish is my command !

Wow, that kit is unbelievable!! The engineering along with all the upgraded parts must be worth thousands a kit. Definitely a gift at 200$ or 1200$. Add in the cost of installation and its probably cheaper to go buy a used rocket that does not need the upgrade! Unless you can do it yourself and you bike is in good shape.

World of Triumph list the kit for 1882. Total Piece Parts $2,218.73

It was a gift at 200 bucks. and I bet Triumph caught on to many of us purchasing it for stock. So they wised up.

Eff Triumph. That generally don't give a damm about the people that keep them in business, i.e., their customers.
