More tune questions for a Roadster

PM me your e-mail and I will send set of AFR tables for the PCV + AT and you won't look back :D

Oh yeah i didnt even think of those tables Hanso through myself off with the whole standard/roadster ecu difference but it dont matter when they are both running pcv + AT huh same unit same tables ;)

Your bike with the extra ponies will love the higher profile, Mitch. And it pretty much corrects the speedo. And improves the ride. Plus they look good. Best thing I ever did.

Yeah i know they correct the speedo mate but they throw the odometre out i have heard:cool:
im waiting to see how many ks you get from yours before i take the plunge

How many ks have you got on her now?

The metz i put on not long ago . after u put your bridgy on is already wearing down lol gotta stop spinning the bastard i think not that i do it on purpose though just kinda happens powering out of corners

8,500kms with maybe 2,000 or more still in it. Metz - 4,800. Avon - 6,500. If the odo is out now because of the profile it means I'm getting even more out of it. Also with the taller gearing it will spin less (I'm sure that's a big part of the extra mileage) and launch you faster out of corners, especially with your ponies and light weight.

Cant argue with that mate i think i will give one a go.
I would be less hesitant if they had a matching tire for the front im a little reluctant to mix breeds.
your running metz up front on yours is that correct?

No mate. I've had a couple of Avons and reckon they're great. Got about 10,000km out of each of them and good grip. HellFire always swore by them too. Must say this last one got the wobbles pretty bad (with hands off the bars) towards the end. But I've actually just today put a Bridgestone on the front - a G701. Have just ridden it home so can't tell yet how it really feels but I'll be sure to let you know.

Edit - pity they don't do an Exedra Max in the size but the tread's very similar on the 701.

What is the differences between the Standard and the Roadster tables?

John
There are some small differences between them but If you give me a little time I could do the same as I did before and copy the values over as I did for the STD/Classics AFR's Table.
Have you got a PCV + AT yet or are you still thinking about it, if you have it then let me know and as soon as I have a few hours to spare I will do it.:)

Alternativly you can do it your self if you already have a PCV + AT and you have TuneECU software, It is just a matter of doing a Screen print of the AFR table in an TuneECU tune then marking out the common Trottle Postion % points and the RPM points on a Zero PCV Map's AFR table and work out the percentage difference on the points in between remembering that the PCV tables are upside down to the TuneECU tables. To do this you need to have your laptop connected to a PCV + AT to be able to create a AFR Table:)

I don't have the PCV yet but plan to soon. I did just order the Eastern Beaver relays for the headlights. I am planning on triple K&N's and Jardines. Will probably go with PCV first, K&N's and Jardines later.
