Foglight (Highway light) bulb replacement

I hope that doesn't cause issues down the line, all the power is funneled through the keyswitch. You can do a search here for "ignition issues" and find people who - over time - have had their keyswitches fail, leaving them stranded. The Eastern Beaver relay and bypass would give you even more light (as you'd draw power directly from the battery, no voltage drop) and also go around the keyswitch which may or may not fail down the line otherwise. Probably worth $50 and an hour's easy work.

I had done a post some time back but got hammered by some for unknown reason. There is a 100wt bulb that has a small tang when removed is a perfect replacement, no problems with wiring, lens is glass, and 200 watts of light. they have been in my 09 Touring without any issues cost less than aftermarket and I can SEE unlike OEM.

You installed 100wt bulbs in your auxiliary/foglights? I went from 35wt to 55wt and after a few years it fried the wiring. I'm quite surprised you've made so long without failure.

The first thing I did with my R3T was swap out the stock bulbs with Sylvania Silverstar. They are easy to find in auto and department stores.

Whoa, I think I've been misled. Both of my fog lights have died since I got my '14 R3T and the dealer replaced under warranty without issue; needed to wait for lights to come in though. I was told they are some sort of "sealed unit" and that the entire housing had to be replced at $95 each or so; if I didn't have the warranty. So if you have swapped them out simply with the buld replacement, I must have misunderstood what the dealer told me.

I tried that math formula with my wife. Did not work
