If you happen to melt your rain pants on your brand new ceramic coated CES headers
DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES USE OVEN CLEANER to remove it.
The chemical reaction started within seconds and I hit it with the hose straight away. That's the water you can see on the peg rail; the tears came a minute or so later.
The good news is I've been able to bring back 90% of the shine using Silvo and Purple Polish and even a light buffing. I also now have a heat shield that covers most of the area so it's not really visible, but it could have been a lot worse if I'd left it longer or on a different bit of the pipe. Be warned!
