The first, third and fourth photos are my bike. There is a slight difference between my exhaust ( The first and last photo) the position of the O2 sensor and my headers don't match up with the stock mufflers. The production pipe is the third photo.

Your bike looks great. The production one is the photo with pimp daddy royal purple background isn't it?

I had already figured I was getting that version (with a smaller dia after the join), from the pipe angles that appear to match my stock bike's photo at top.

Yes the one on the purple is the production model. They all are except the 2 pics off mine. You'll notice mine has a longer tail pipe on the headers and not as much pipe on the front of the muffler. I was at CES on Friday, Lesley said they had to get some new pics of the production model fitted to show customers. If you are getting the headers with the reduced tail pipe to fit the stock crossover box there is a pic of the first one CES made on the thread called Rocket science on here. Do a search it will come up.

Mines 08 and it made 165 with stock engine and pod filters.
That's interesting then, as I know the roadster has 10 HP more in stock form due to the cam difference than the earlier models, I will have to get mine dynoed and see what I get.

My CES was made to fit stock pipes - the Foran mufflers fitted straight to my stock header.

Richard, that Foran muffler is the closest I have seen to my unknown exhaust mufflers in length, do you have a rear end view of the mufflers? They do look like they have a wider bell mouth than mine which have a std heat shield on it. My collector box is stainless with an oval cross section shaped cross link pipe at least twice the width of std inlet pipe. Photos from original eBay listing. Things changing all the time. Fairly loud tested statically at 104db at ACT MVR.

All you guys with greater than 160 at the wheel, did you have ignition timing adjusted or just fuel? Getting some conflicting data, just curious how and why.

What is this different cam discussion? They are the same on the roadster, the extra power comes from a non gimpy factory tune.

Parts fiche only lists one part number for all years, one entry for the cams.

Triumph Motorcycles | triumph-select-model-part | Triumph Parts | Triumph Clothing | Triumph Accessories | Triumph Bike Rocket III - Classic - Roadster | Camshaft amp Camshaft Drive

In fact some respectable tuners who have gone through many rockets have consistently seen the first version, the "standard", put down a bit more hp in Stock form with a good tune vs roadsters in Stock form with a good tune.
