Version 2 of theHansO AFR Map now available

I just been on an overnight 1,000 km trip it was inland over the mtn's with some endless 600 km's of Freeway in rain, peasoup fog and beautifull sunshine, "The Mistress" never missed a beat and best of all only saw only one cop, what a shame :) he was preocupied with a Tin Top, cruising along the freeway at 130ish km/h and I was not expecting to get good fuel economy but managed the best fuel useage I have gotten from her and I wasn't even trying in fact I even gave a couple decent squirts and she respondied nicely:cool:
So yeah I'm happy with the map :D

So - in the spirit of R+D - I changed the AFR values in 3rd and 4th to the new values and used the F-L switch values posted by Hanso.

Just got back from a quick 100mile blast. Once it's cooled down - the new AFR values will go into 1st and 2nd too. 5th I'm deliberately keeping as a cruising gear. I'll stick with the V1 AFR values there.

Much more tractable at low rpms (traffic etc) - smoother and way better acceleration & overtaking.

Excuse me Mr Woo ;)

Wil this new creation be suitable for stock headers ? Yes Of course it will work on any combination even a stock of the floor bike

I would like to try it but no point if the PCv is going to de-rate the AFR settings.

What you recon young fellar? :D
that the whole point of the AFR map being used in the Auto Tune it will give the best fuelling as per the O2 levels in the exhaust there by it takes into account for any intake or exhaust restrictions and gives the best performance governed by the AFR's if you wanted to make more power at any certain Throttle Position /Rev's

Thank you  if you remember when your sending one out copy me in please.

This was the reason for the Question Hans
Just a lot!

Stunning though how much the Autotune is trimming down against a stock OEM tune in the ECU. I have some cells where it's trimmed off over 40%

Some final pro's and cons.

So - with the V2 AFR targets in 1st and 2nd now as well, one felt obliged (no really - otherwise I'd not have gone out - honest :D ) to test it.

A Pro - the last vestiges of decel-popping have gone. They were only a mild burble - but gone.

A con - The back end now breaks away, if you're not careful when cranked over. And I do spend a fair amount of time off-vertical. I think this means sticky rubber again.

Acceleration is MUCH smoother and more predictable - seems to match my throttle response expectation better anyway. Before there was a tiny response lag - gone. So is the annoying torque "hole" at 2000rpm pulling away in 1st.

Love it Hans. Well done mate - really. This should be the de-facto standard start-up AFR table for PCV/AT, imo.

Time to rethink triple filters methinks.Though the ITG and rubber bell-mouth option.
