Good evening Gentlemen.
After advice on a good map to start with and do's and don'ts. 3.5 bar Fuel pressure regulator has arrived, bike has staintune Australia complete system with cat delete and oxygen sensor delete. K&N filter with standard plumbing ATM. Data cable is on it's way and my Son tells me tune ecu is only available on Android, another words I can't plug straight into the laptop I need to use my phone but he tells me it's no issue to share from the phone to the laptop so I can actually see it.
Tia Cheers.

What's the 3.5 bar reg for?

Standard reg 3 bar (stock pump and the injectors too) are plenty able for those mods.
Few maps in resources section plus the TuneECU website for the mods too.

You can still get the old Windows version of TuneECU for free to use on laptop e.g. link in my signature or share your email and I can send it to you

Thanks heaps I will do. I read on some rocket 3 forum that stockers respond well to 3.5 bar as in better atomisation, I was replacing the regulator along with pump etc so opted to try it. My email is milduraclassicexpress@gmail.com
Thanks very much for the help 👍

Curious re this 3.5 bar reg - do you have a link to an example of where it says this re stockers & 3.5 bar?

More likely it's the slightly more fuel per cycle. The stock maps are purposely lean to meet emission standards so the slightly higher pressure will flow slightly more fuel per injector cycling. Flow (pick a liquid) is proportional to the square root ot differential pressure. So a slightly higher fuel pressure increases the dP across the injector nozzle, adding a tad more fuel. The FI adaptation can change the cycling rate to compensate for this change in the O2 outlet value only of the O2 sensor is still working as input to fuel injection mapping. A lot of the 1st Gen bikes had the O2 sensors removed and the holes bunged with a threaded plug (mine was anyway) and O2 input negated, so the adaptation couldn't account for the added fuel. Just some musings on my part.
