Tranny replaced but STILL slipping out of gear

I was lent a fazer when I took a GL18 for some work, think I killed it!!! :shock:

I had my tranny worked on just before I left for Americade and it went the whole 7,500 miles without a hitch!! The first work I had done included replaced of the little springs on the shift quadrant and that seems to have been the cure for keeping it from popping out of gear. I paid for new second gear and dogs myself since it was apart and had those installed, but 500 miles later I broke the tranny and under warranty the dealer put it back to stock, using the earlier number parts. (Warranty issues, they did not feel adventuresome and I did not feel argumentative on their dime!) But with the stock parts, and with the improved springs it is working without a hitch.
