I finally removed, cleaned, and installed the new sump gasket, I was applying torque to bolt #3 when instead of click... it went snap! Broke the friggin bolt inside of the crankcase. It's either time for a new torque wrench, or definitely time for some new bolts. Crap
IMHO with that low of a torque setting you should have used a in.lb. torque wrench for better feel unless you have a high dollar electric one. Just my opinion though.
If it helps any, it was a 3/8 drive torque wrench, I think those bolts are one time use, or they should be one time use, the manual doesn't say to replace them.
Aw mate I don't envy you ! Have you ever had success with the extractors?
Nothing worse than having one of them little buggers snap off in the bolt your trying to extract !
