One on the most appealing HDs is the FatBob, IMO. Shortly after it was released someone bought a beautiful Black Denim one in Canberra and straight away swapped the twin headlights for a single. Not I nor anyone at the HD shop could understand why he'd done it. Twin lights made the FatBob distinctive and different and sort of went with the twin disc brakes; now it just looked like all the others.

Each to his own.

6 months later he wanted to change it back to twin headlights but had sold the parts and was up for BIG $.

I'm sure there are plenty of R3T riders who'd like the twin lights. Maybe try for a swap.

Checked out a Rocket belonging to one of the Nomads at funeral in Newcastle the other day. Owner had a set of high , high bars and had his guages half way up them . Guages were fitted into old spin-on oil filters with the guts ripped out of them... looked neat.

I kinda just do stuff to suit what i like sometimes i might steal an idea from another bike and another idea from a different one such as Hansos headers he got from sam but in the end the ive made it my own.
i really think that is something important for everyone
to make it your own regardless of others likes and dislikes

I love motorcycles and especially the rocket 3

Personally I am Flatered that you choose to go the Same way with the whole exhaust package and at the Same time you have gone down a different road in other ways it's like a lot of guys like blacking out thier bike while I have and still am adding Chrome and Stainless Steel

Got some new mirrors on the big ***** yesterday

told her i wasnt spending any more money so when the package arrived i wasnt too popular lol

Really glad i took your advice on those headers and snapping up that staintune system too Hanso i couldnt be happier with the look and the sound of them for that matter
