I'm loving the thread and ideas...but the "code" talk of what the mods are (eastern beaver, PODS, etc...) has me burning up google and search... How about throwing us newbie's a bone... LOL

FYI.....

Heres a few to get ya started :rolleyes: Maybe others will chime in :)

JM2CW = Just my 2 cents worth
LMFAO = Laughed My F***ing Ass Off :D
JMO = Just My Opinion
Bone / Boner = Erectile Penasaurus, known to becoming extinc in some areas...:eek:

PODS = 3 K&N Air Fiter units
TORs = Triumph Off Road Silencers
TPS = Throttle Position Sensor x2 Primary & Secondary
CAS = Crank Angle Sensor
ECU = Electronic Control Unit
ECM = Engine Management Unit

Eastern Beaver = Company name of manufaturer of the Headlamp Relay and Harness Kit in Japan
Installation

Sometimes Eastern Beaver is used to refer to something else but I'm sure you'll pick up on that from the context. ;)

GI ATRE or GI or ATRE or GIPro = is a Gear Indicator Pro with a Gear Advanced Timing Retard Eliminator. Basically this device helps trick your bike into forgetting that Triumph decided in there wisdom (as have other manufacturers) that the riders of these bikes are too big a threat to themselves so in certain gears they thought it was safer to restrict how much power could be input. In essence with this in place the bike will not restrict how much and when power is delivered, it allows you to be in control of your bike .....

Darksider ...... someone that fits a car tyre to their bike

TCS - Throttle Cam System, this is the sleeve and cam which your throttle grip is attached to. by changing the TCS you have the ability to manipulate how you throttle input is delivered to your ECU effecting your traction and acceleration.

here I am late to the party and it sounds like all the good anagrams
and abbreviations have already been taken.
Jus' my luck, oh well.

I'm glad you chimed in on with that one's exact meaning cos it had me stumped even thu I figured it meant wear your saftey gear:D

Thanks guys - even for the fun sarcasm!!! LOL

What's the need for the "fuel level mod"... Read the thread but was no discussion on what the issue is?

Also, just picked up a 2012 Roadster - it already has a gear indicator built-in... Seems the GIPRO would be a little overdone except for the restriction override. Can that be done with a programmer?

Yep you can open secondaries 100% and copy ignition tables from higher gears ect with tune ecu "free program search for thread on this site or simply google and download" and all you need is a laptop and an OBDII lead which can be purchased on ebay and a little guidence from the many captains on this site ;)
