Also, just picked up a 2012 Roadster - it already has a gear indicator built-in... Seems the GIPRO would be a little overdone except for the restriction override. Can that be done with a programmer?

I would think the 2012 ECU would be the same as the older models.
If so.. you use TuneECU copy the ign table for 5th and paste it into 1 2 3 save..and reload the map or load a new map with it already done for your model..

Oh yeah almost forgot changing the bars to highway hawk super fat customs was good . The standard ones suck

Hmmm I didn't like the crash bars they stayed on my bike for all of ten mins lol they are on Motolinks bike now . Each to thier own though I just put my heels over the pegs on the highway

I did the PODS, cat delete and custom tune, Halgon shocks and a few accessories but IMO the best mods have to be Avon Cobra on the front and darkside.
The wet traction made my balls grow too much.
Riding the Dragon after a rain and still scraping pegs without even a hint of slipping.
