I'm just in the process of installing the PC5 and then will do the filters and exhaust next - in that order.

I noticed that the PC5 maps do not have anything that corresponds to my current setup which is TORS + under the seat K & N. Also, there is a pre-loaded map for Jardines + K & N but no mention if this is the K & N under the seat filter or triple K & N's.

So here are my questions:

1) What map do I use once PC5 is installed and before triples are installed
2) What map do I use once PC5 + triples are installed but before Jardines
3) Is the pre-loaded map okay to use once I have PC5, triples and Jardines installed?
4) Are there custom maps out there for PC5?
5) Am I harming the engine if the maps are off from my setup somewhat?

I am going to get the bike dyno'd once everything is installed. Also, was trying to avoid the added expense of Autotune for now if at all possible but will bite the bullet if I have to.

Thanks!

firstly have you got a TuneECU cable if so load a TuneECU Map (with advanced ignition) for the jardines K&N's etc so you have a base tune for when you are below 2 % throttle after that" The Auto Tune" kicks in assumming you have one, otherwise you will need to get a dynotune done, if you have a Auto Tune send me your e-mail in a PM and I will send you a nice set of AFR's for the Auto Tune workout a tune for you to give good performance and economy depending on how heavy you are with the right hand

First off what year bike do you have? Touring or Roadster? I think pc5 only works with 2009 and newer (according there there website). Not sure of the touring but if its a roadster I would use the 21-003-004 or the 21-003-005 map but remember this is with tune ecu using map 020355 and secondaries ether full open (map 005) or stock (map 004). You may run a little rich being that these tunes are for the jardine system but its better than being lean and would be better than the stock map.

Remember these maps can get you close but every bike is different and atmospheric temp and pressure is different for different locations. The best way is a trusted and proven dyno test/adjust or if your like me live in the sticks and the only guy (a..hole) with a dyno for hundreds of miles won't let any bike on his machine except a harley. Get the auto tuner;)

Pc5

Did I see some one about to install a PC5 on an early Rocket as I have a 2007 and would like to use a PC5 on mine just wanted to know any results has any one got any INFO

I have PCv+AT on my 2005 with hanso's maps loaded it works really great I am very happy, over 50+ kms it tunes the AFR map to suit the bike..

Hanso is our ECU map Oracle :D and he can be quite useful for other un-mentionable  things too... :p:D
Go for it Sass !

Don't, I repeat, DON'T go saying things like that. It only encourages him. :p;)

I know mate and Ill probably regret it later :( but he is sort of lovable
