Painted Body kit $250

The boxes made it! The parts are new and came in Triumph boxes. Looks like they were custom ordered and not installed . I'm in Florida but, when I get back will report and send pics. Will need advice about how to remove the factory set and install this one without damaging them.:laugh::D:D

Fuel Pump & Filter. Fits: 2007 Triumph Rocket III Classic/Roadster | Hermys Triumph Motorcycle Parts

Huummm? Thank's for the news. It'l be worth it. Custom is never cheap.

Be very careful not to bend rod on #4 when installing (don't ask me how i know)
Since you will be swapping the tanks periodically you may want to get 3-4 sets of banjo fitting washers for the fuel line. It takes 2 washers, one on top of fitting & one on bottom. #22 in the parts schematic. P/N T3550128
And instead of the $53 Triumph fuel filter, go to auto parts store & get a Wix 33032 for $8

Found the whole assembly, cheap. I'm just going to trade the stock tins for these. Once it goes on, Ill trade bikes if someone wants the Green one. The stock tins will go on sale. I guess I can sell them without the pump assembly so I don't need to spend more $$. What's the trick not to bend the sender?

How about the rim inside the fill up port? Is it an extra piece?

keyless fuel cap rocket III | eBay

Morris, @R3Tex, has one, not sure which, but the black has come off.

Someone else mentioned they have the SSR brand, don't remember who, and it was good so far.

I think I am going to go with one of these >>> Slingshot Racing : Triumph Billet Quick Release Keyless Gas Fuel Tank Cap Lid - $74.99

I have the $50 model by Slingshot. There is two spring loaded ball vents made inside the cap. I over tightened the cap and it wouldn't vent. When I went to open the tank to fill with fuel "swwooossh". The tank was building up pressure. Since I figured out what was causing it I don't over tightened any longer. Also it seems like both vents are adjustable. Tighten the allen head ..... harder for the vent ball to move. Loosen the allen head..... easier for vent ball to move.

I haven't tried to sit down and figure the vent options out and the "why" of it all since the cap isn't pissing me off any longer.....:D

SSR is based in San Jose CA from what I can tell. I'm just up the road in Union City for the next few days, wonder if they have a retail shop...
