Missing Body Panel, possible compatibility?

Touring side covers are plastic and affix like Jap bikes with a pin and grommet. High speed runs tend to suck them right off the bike. Fingers idea is a good one.

BTW: Roadster and Standards have steel side covers and they are bolted on.

I've found it annoying needing to unbolt my R3 Classic side covers compared to my Harley for example. After reading this thread I now realize what a good thing I have going for me.
