Manx tank

Finally got Manx style tank for my Bonnie, it's only 4 months later than quoted delivery.
It has to go back as it has several problems, hope it's doesn't take as long for the remake.

Made in Scotland, terrible service, loooong wait & does not fit
looks good though.

Isn't the Scotsman supposed to build the best stuff ? I heard of long waits but thought they were top shelf.

I asked for no clip on recesses, he said ok no problem, but they are in there
Rear mounting bracket welded on pissed, easy to see by eye, fork legs hit front of tank on both locks,
tunnel is too tight to allow fitting with lug rubbers on,
fuel pump/filter will not even fit into the tank.
But it looks good, but must be remade.

Sounds like it wasn't even made for your model of bike.

Guy in knew in Darwin had that Scots guy make a tank for his Thruxton ..pretty sure he was happy with the job he did .. looks the business but not much use if nothing fits or it has clearance issues.

Yeah could be, you do have to send order in writing before he will do anything
