i got there a little late,a guy there said the Rocket was 'passed in'' @ $5500, so it had a reserve on it ,that wasnt reached,apparently this means it goes back to its insurers and they decide wot to do with it.It may well be back to be auctioned off again or????There was a green Thruxton tho and i couldnt see anything wrong with it other than having no exhaust pipes. It went for a measely $2250.....the buyer stole it IMHO.

Just seems strange they'd deem it a 'repairable write-off ' when it's technically not a 'write-off' .. could be some loophole Insurance companies use I guess. Don't know how they go about their business.... know they are slippery f#ckers though.

Any Vehicle that has been purchased by an insurance company as a result of a loss (Damage or Stolen etc) will ALWAYS be a "repairable write off" this removes any future claims against the insurance company - Ass covering. If however you come across a "Statutory Write-Off" This can NEVER be registered again.
Also stops the chop shops from repairing damaged vehicles using these VIN identifiers.

Should be in next auction, they will keep it there until its sold for what they want or reduce the price if they struggle to get good $.
