How To: Add Pressure Input for PC-V

hmmmm.jpg

Blue are Rob's numbers
Red are 3 not running samples on different days - differing pressures and voltage. Mine
Purple is my first tickover measure and it seemed high to me.
Green is the variance measured (max and min) at tickover but at a steady hPa value
0,0 is a simple reference and the orange negative pressure set at 0 arbitrarily.

I am off to draw some more graphs etc.

I spent this morning playing - and MAY have discovered how to really fine tune the PCV pressure configuration. But I'm not saying how UNTIL I have a goodly amount of data logged.

HOWEVER - I suspect I may indeed have cracked it. When Youtube finishes converting this video - you'll see. Sorry it's not well focused - But that 1€ coin is not glued onto the tank.

Very interesting graph and quite impressed with the coin actually balancing!

Having the scaling correct on the sensor is definitely critical to best operation of the pressure based fueling!

Glad you've carried this further in development, curious how you achieved a reference value of 0 volts = 0 psi.

Like all sensors I've measured on the Rocket, the voltage measured with a multi-meter connected to sensor signal and chassis ground is different from the value displayed in the TuneECU software, no doubt as a result of differing grounding locations (ECU internal referenced to the 5v signal vs battery neg). As a result, I use the TuneECU value to ensure both ECUs are getting the same value and that lag in TuneECU reporting is what makes it difficult.

Just need to do some research find the car model it fits and look it up.

Don’t have time at the moment but it shouldn’t be super hard to find, if, that sensor was used in a popular car.

MITSUBISHI is the manufacturer of the electronic component,, not necessarily a part for MITSUBISHI motorvehicles as many other electrical components are made by MITSUBISHI for industry as well including Japanese motorcycles.

Remember MITSUBISHI Aircon units, heavy industry etc.
