@Tripps offer could be a bargain.
@tribal has probably done the most towing on a Rocket III (across continental USA a few times, Alaska and Mexico too in past few years) but his were/are the Dual headlight models same as the UK seller's Rocket III. He has now retired his Tribal and is now towing with his Red stripe/ Black ABS Roadster.
There were/are a couple of companies in the USA that made them I think for R3T and certainly another here in Australia, Classic Industries (since shut down) made tow hitches and trailer for all brands of motorcycle for 30+ years and sold internationally.
They made 3 versions for the Triumph Rocket III models both dual 2004-2009 3 pipe Standards, Classics (w footboards & a set to fit with Jardines aftermarket pipes), 2010-2018 2 pipe Roadster with ABS and single headlight 2008-2018 R3Ts with and w/o ABS.
There will still be many used Classic Industries ones in the USA but confusion as to the model and fitment is likely from sellers if they didn't use it themselves.

The one below was Mittzy's Roadster one he sold a while ago. Note the different plate shape at end and much lower rail height to accommodate lower mufflers like Jardines need too!
