GPS - What to use?

Currently using a Garmin Zumo, previosuly uaed a Garmin Nuvi. Both work, the Zumos are water proof and work with gloves. The Nuvi was on bike for 3 years - the few times it rained jsut did the plastic baggie over it and no problems.

Pick the system you are most comfortable with as not being able to work nav when needed can be a pain. Also will you be using it with an intercom. Some are better than others for intergrating intercom/music/phone into system.

Excellent point regarding Bluetooth!
Been using a Nuvi 3760 for a few years, BUT although it has Bluetooth, it will not connect with helmet communication (Sena, Uclear).
Their Bluetooth apparently work only with the Garmin Zumo models or Tom Tom Rider. I'd like to hear my GPS as well as see it so I ordered a Zumo 660.
Hope I can get used to the small screen (4.3" vs 6") on the Zumo.

I bought the Garmin Zumo 550 awhile back paid $750.00 for it, have to say i'll never do that again. One of the main selling features at the time it was water proof.Have had great luck with it and it has never let me down. They say the 665 has satilite capabilities for weather and radio and i saw it $100 cheaper than what i paid for mine.. I learned that if you want a nice cheap GPS go to your local tow truck company and ask the drivers if they have any for sale, you'd be surprised what they have for sale. i use a Garmin Zumo 665. Works well and is glove friendly

Same here, great GPS with bluetooth to load all you want for a long trip.

Yes, the weather map is good but the XM radio sucks. No volume due to a crappy circular disk antenna in my opinion.

I use the Garmin Zumo 395 it has extra functions 1 I use and love is the tyre pressure monitor you fit the optional valve caps that relay pressure info to Gps unit and it will alert you if the pressure drops below your preset pressure while riding, this doesnt mean you dont check tyre pressures as normal

Just a side note..... there are gloves you can buy in which the index fingers works with GPS as well as hand helds.
