keno351,,you wouldn't happen to have any pictures of your install of this kit maybe? I purchased one too for my R3R and the on/off switch too. If so Id sure like to see them. How did you suspend or do you have to remove the gas tank or whatever ? LMK either way,thanks.

kieth 12 there is a post from tdragger that has step by step instructions with photos, mine was a 09 std so i dont know about the r3r and yes lights are much brighter and it seems to crank over faster.

You can go over to the r3owners.com site and look for any post by Bishop and download the service manual. It will tell you how to lift the tank.

In short, you only have to remove the front bolt of the tank. Then lift it up and you will see a prop rod on the right side of the frame. The rod goes into the hole where the bolt was and the other end goes in the tang at the front of the tank. NOTE: make sure you have run a couple of gallons out of the tank prior to lifting. If you lift with a full tank you will get some overflow.
