It's over! Dealer called today and told me my Rocket was ready to pick up. I arrived art the dealer and found the bike outside the back door. The first thing I see is the gas tank's paint has been slightly scratched however they were able to get it most of it with some wax and elbow grease. I'll work on what little is left to do myself, if not they will send it to a paint shop, should buff out though.

Started the Bike and rode it sounded great and ran even better. Took it out for about 150 miles and it seems great. Rode a little easy being a new engine. they claim they Removed the governor and have it tuned to the new 2013 specs. I really couldn't tell since I haven't rode it hard yet. I noticed the engine casing is somewhat different than My stock 2011 Roadster. behind the left side foot peg their is a very stout flat service with what appears to be great place to hang a padlock. The Triumph insignias that are normally glued to both sides of the engine casing are missing but they ordered them today along with the chrome button that is used to fill the Mystery padlock holder on the left side of the engine casing I spoke of earlier.

Thank you to all of you for your advice during this very troubling times Especially Warp9.9 who's knowledge and advice was very Appreciated. If any of you ever find yourself in Southern California.. Feel Free to Look me up. Beer is still legal here if you hurry.

Overall: Triumph never wavered in support of their product or in their obligation to fix the Bike. It may have take Longer than I would of preferred (Almost 2.5 months) but thank god it was in the winter. My factory Warranty is expiring next month and triumph agreed to extend my warranty for another 6 months for the delay in my repairs.

Thanks Again to All For your Support!

Great news my friend. Glad Triumph came through for ye.Al

Busted Crank?

I've put about 3,000 mile on my Rocket since the rebuild. The Rattle can noise returned within 1,000 miles. So I need to take it into the shop again. I'm sure they will become hearing impaired and choose not hear it again.

The occassional blow back through the air filter has returned as well. Not Sure what to do at this point. I love the Rocket but wish triumph would recognize the problem and correct it. Don't really want to sell it, why pass on my problem to someone else. I guess I give it one more try at the dealership before I park it in front of the dealership with a sign on it telling people not to buy Triumphs!
