Mitch, I've had no cupping on my front Avons and very even wear. Just trying out the Bridgestone at the moment but if it's not brilliant I'll be going back to Avon on the front.

Thanks mate . Yeah I like the sound of the bridgy but the higher profile is a deal breaker for me looks wise . I know I know fussy bastard aren't I lol

You'll like the Avons - especially on the front. With the rear just go easy on the throttle on the wet, otherwise the grip is good.

Got 18900km's out of my rear metz around 12000 mile front one 21000 km.

hey that's a bit more ks than me, i got 9000km's out of front and 10000km's from rear, what psi do you run I have 42 psi rear and 36 front I have 06 r3 classic

Next front I buy is going to be a Michelin Commander II 140/75 R17 67V Radial it will sit a tad lower and make the steering a wee bit more responsive.

Certainly a concern if it was showing up consistently but I'm not aware that it was. We all have to live with the possibility of unexpected blow outs and failures - nothing's perfect. I'm sure there isn't one brand of tyre that's never had a catsatrophic blow out.

Im due for a new front tyre soon I was gonna try the BS following you but it seems I should maybe stick with the Avon, btw what happened with that liquid balance/sealer stuff sorry forgot the name.. did you try it ?
